[feym] noun, verb, famed, fam·ing.
widespread reputation, especially of a favorable character; renown; public eminence.
common estimation or opinion generally held of a person or thing; reputation.
What is fame really?
Above, the definition seems to have more depth than what we see in persons of fame.
A favorable character? Most don’t possess that quality.
Anyone who is or has been famous, has no inherent difference from our neighbor, or the clerk at the grocery store.
In fact, they are a neighbor or a grocery store clerk..at least until they’re famous.
So, what changes from them bagging our grocery’s to us screaming?
Not a single thing changes. We simply perceive them differently. The only problem with that is, once we begin to perceive them differently, they too begin to perceive themselves differently.
So, does KPM or it’s artist desire fame? Yes, a widespread favorable reputation.
Having their art reach millions, as opposed to thousands, would be nothing short of a blessing. One that their perception would remain grateful for.
Never change; KPM.
